A man from Kottayam, India has recently earned the world record for “Most coconuts smashed with one hand in one minute.” Abheesh P. Dominic managed to break open 124 coconuts in just one minute on 28th May 2019, beating the previous record of 118 that had been held since 2011. With a line of coconuts arranged on a wall, Abheesh expertly smashed two per second and was cheered on by an excited crowd of friends and spectators.
Abheesh had set his sights on breaking the world record in order to become a well-known athlete from his remote village. He expressed his pride in receiving the world record from the Time World Records and credited his success to his strong determination and belief in the power of human will.
