In Dubai, UAE, a record has been achieved for “The Biggest Burqa’ in the World” by different individuals. The Emirati burqa’ was measured at 100cm in width and 60cm in height and was accomplished through teamwork by CHIKARA in partnership with Jawhara, produced by alBeqsha, Zay Initiative & HK Consultancy. The achievement was presented at the EXPO Dubai to honor the UAE’s 50th National Day and was confirmed on December 2nd, 2021. The individuals who achieved this record are Dr. Mariam Ketait, Mr. Mohammad Tamjid Abdullah, Ms. Maryam Qayed, Dr. Reem Tarqi El Mutwalli, Mr. Muneer Bin Mohiyadeen, and Mr. Habeeb Koya.
